International Relocation Services
Moving abroad is equal parts logistics and emotions.
We've relocated internationally 15+ times. We guide you through both.
Whether you're exploring a potential move or ready to commit, we provide comprehensive support from initial research through your first 90 days in your new home—handling the visa applications AND the 2am panic calls when you wonder if you're making the right choice.
Why People Choose International Relocation
Our clients relocate for many reasons: lower cost of living, adventure, career opportunities, early retirement where savings stretch further, desire to learn new languages and cultures, or simply because they've always dreamed of living abroad.
Whatever brings you here, relocation is a big decision. It requires both practical planning (visas, housing, healthcare) and emotional readiness (building new communities, navigating culture shock, adapting to unfamiliar systems).
That's where we come in.

This is where we come in.
Between the three of us, we've relocated internationally more than 20 times—to countries where we initially knew no one, didn't speak the language fluently, and had to build everything from scratch. We've experienced every challenge you're imagining (and several you're not).
More importantly, we're living this right now. Meghan lives permanently in Dakar, Senegal. We're not advising from distant memory—we're navigating international life alongside you.
WHY BENEATH THE MAP IS DIFFERENT
Logistics AND Emotional Support

We Have Actually Lived in These Destinations
All three of us have spent years or decades in the countries we serve. We navigate the same bureaucracies, healthcare systems, markets, and daily life challenges that you'll encounter. When we recommend a neighborhood, service provider, or solution to a problem, it's based on current, lived experience—not outdated information or Google research.

Our Networks are Personal, Not Transactional
The people we introduce you to aren't vendor referrals who pay us commissions. They're friends, trusted colleagues, community members we've worked alongside for years, and service providers we use ourselves. Many have become family. These relationships mean you get access to support and resources that would take you years to build independently—and you get them immediately, from day one.

We Understand the Emotional Journey
Moving abroad isn't just logistics. It's identity transformation. We've experienced the excitement mixed with terror, the loneliness that can hit even when surrounded by people, the culture shock that makes you question your decision, the moments of doubt and the moments of profound joy. When you call us feeling overwhelmed, homesick, or questioning whether you've made a terrible mistake, we respond from genuine understanding

We've Done This Without Institutional Support
Much of our relocation experience happened before we were diplomats—meaning we learned to navigate international moves without government support, unlimited budgets, or institutional safety nets. We built lives abroad the same way you will: through resourcefulness, relationship-building, cultural humility, and willingness to ask for help. This means our guidance is practical and realistic for regular people, not just those with diplomatic privileges.

We're Selective About Who We Serve
We work with clients who are genuinely ready for international relocation—with realistic expectations about both challenges and rewards, financial resources to invest in comprehensive support, and genuine respect for the cultures they're joining. This allows us to provide deep, personalized service that makes successful transition possible.

We Speak the Languages and Understand the Cultures
All three founders are fluent in Spanish and/or French, with working knowledge of Portuguese and several local languages. We understand cultural nuances around communication, time, relationships, and expectations. This cultural competency prevents costly mistakes, facilitates genuine integration, and helps you navigate moments of confusion or misunderstanding with grace.
Our Relocation Packages
We offer three distinct service packages designed to meet you at different stages of your relocation journey.

Location Scout Package
Experience your potential new home firsthand with a week-long reconnaissance designed to answer your critical questions. Stay with a vetted local family, explore multiple neighborhoods, view actual rental properties, meet expats and locals, understand real costs of living, and receive a comprehensive feasibility report. Perfect for confirming whether a specific destination truly aligns with your goals before making major commitments.

Full Relocation Package
Comprehensive end-to-end support from planning through settlement, including everything in the Location Scout package plus pre-departure coordination (housing procurement, visa management, shipping logistics), intensive first-week arrival support (airport pickup, banking setup, official registration, immediate orientation), and ongoing mentorship through your critical first 90 days with structured check-ins, 24/7 availability, and both practical problem-solving and emotional support as you navigate culture shock and build your new life.

Custom Relocation Support
Already have some aspects handled but need targeted guidance in specific areas? We offer à la carte support for housing search only, visa application coordination, cultural integration coaching, or other specific needs. Schedule a consultation to discuss your situation and we'll design support that fits your unique circumstances.
What Relocation Support Doesn't Include
We believe in transparency, so here's what we don't do:
-
Legal services - We connect you with qualified immigration attorneys but don't provide legal advice ourselves
-
Physical moving services - We don't pack boxes or ship containers, though we will link you with companies who do
-
Job placement - We can offer guidance on work permits and local job markets, but we're not recruiters
-
Guarantee of happiness - Relocation is a deeply personal journey; we provide expert guidance and support, but ultimately your experience is shaped by your own openness and adaptability
